Cisco, Dell, 451 Research  to Present at New Fog Computing and Networking Event

More than 70 Innovators in Fog Computing are set to take the Stage at Fog World Congress October 30 – November 1 in Santa Clara.

In a recent release, the OpenFog Consortium and the IEEE Communications Society, announced the Fog World Congress, a multi-day conference and exhibit on fog computing and networking, to take place October 30 to November 1 in Santa Clara, California, has announced its faculty of conference speakers, including several key industry leaders from Cisco, Dell, and 451 Research.

These companies will join fellow innovative technology leaders and esteemed research institutions and academia from Stanford, Princeton, Purdue, University of California to collaborate on key challenges and opportunities in the development and deployment of fog computing and networking.

This caliber of speakers is indicative of the growing significance of fog computing, and the crucial role it plays in enabling key technologies, including the Internet of Things (IoT), 5G mobile systems, embedded artificial intelligence (AI) and blockchain, according to the organizers from the OpenFog Consortium and the IEEE Communications Society.

Fog computing and networking provides the infrastructure needed to drive emerging technologies forward and support complex systems in an ever-evolving market landscape.
