Numerex Selects LogiSense EngageIP Usage Rating and Billing Platform

By

As a provider of managed enterprise solutions that enable the Internet of Things (IoT) through its integrated platform, Numerex has a portfolio of services that address a wide spectrum of vertical markets and industrial clientele. With so many customers, the billing process can get complicated and costly if it is not efficient. The company selected LogiSense’s, EngageIP Usage Rating and Billing platform so it can improve its performance, while simplifying its operations and support connected business models.

LogiSense is a provider of licensed and Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) usage rating, mediation and billing solutions for IoT, machine-to-machine (M2M), telecommunications, unified communications and enterprise service providers. The EngageIP Usage Rating and Billing service Numerex has chosen will be delivered through the LogiSense hosted cloud so it can manage the IoT and M2M solutions it provides.

Because these two technologies combine a host of solutions as part of an overall managed service, which includes applications, connectivity and device management platforms, LogiSense will eliminate system management responsibilities that have taken valuable resources from the company. According to LogiSense, this will allow Numerex to, “Focus on the business critical tasks of building and delivering managed services solutions to their 2 million+ IoT/ M2M subscriptions.”

EngageIP usage rating and billing solution is a flexible real-time platform that makes it possible for service providers to achieve competitive market advantages while maximizing their level of efficiency in the marketplace. The rating and billing it provides covers the IoT, telecom, wholesale and UCaaS sectors.

“The end-to-end converged billing capabilities of the LogiSense EngageIP platform give us operational efficiencies that accelerate the business results we desire,” said Sri Ramachandran, Chief Technology Officer, Numerex.

The EngageIP solution is able to maximize monetization for any service, medium and provider of real-time network services by creating solutions that meet market demand with seamless integration and open access rating, charging and billing capabilities. By eliminating the complexities of back office operations, organizations can focus more on their customers to create personalized services.

LogiSense says its solution provides options that lets businesses act with agility that is needed in today’s marketplace and able to edge out the competition by combining services you can imagine, bundle, tier and cross promote in ways that consumers demand.
