151 Advisors and James Brehm & Associates to Merge Into Joint IoT Consulting Firm

By

151 Advisors, a global strategic consulting firm specializing in mobility, Internet of Things (IoT), Smart Cities, security and cloud-based technologies, and James Brehm & Associates (JB&A), an IoT market intelligence and consulting firm for machine-to-machine communications (M2M), IoT and Smart Cities, have announced their entrance into a definitive agreement to merge and create a new IoT consulting firm providing IoT industry insights, marketing, branding, product development, and go-to-market strategy and execution services.

“151 Advisors has a strong global brand and unique position within the IoT and mobile ecosystem because of their in-depth industry knowledge, network and ability to drive IoT initiatives for their global clients,” said James Brehm, Founder & Chief Technology Evangelist, JB&A. “We believe that combining our two organizations gives us a unique and unmatched ability to serve our customers as well as the broader underserved market. We are excited to add the 151 go-to-market expertise to our team so we can not only provide market research and analysis, but also execute a go-to-market plan focused on revenue generation and increasing shareholder value for our clients.”

The merger, the firms said, leverages the complementary resources and capabilities of both companies to create a dedicated IoT and mobility consulting firm with a focus on enabling companies to enter and expand their business in the rapidly growing IoT, M2M and Smart Cities market.

“We are very pleased to formalize our relationship with JB&A and believe that our clients will benefit greatly from the combined market and industry expertise this merger offers,” said Steve Brumer, Partner at 151 Advisors. “JB&A have been trusted thought leaders within the IoT space for a very long time and a prominent voice on how and where the market is moving forward. Through this combined team, we truly establish the firm as thought-leaders deeply committed to helping our clients increase their revenue, brand awareness, market position and understanding of the IoT, M2M and Smart Cities world.”
