FreeWave Technologies, a provider of industrial, secure Machine to Machine (M2M) and Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) wireless networking solutions, has announced a distributor partnership with Alliance Communications, distributor of wireless infrastructure and networking products.
FreeWave said it is expanding its traditional channel partner distribution network with new relationships with distributors who offer new avenues for sourcing through the channel. As FreeWave expands its product offerings further into the IIoT space, aligning and building relationships with partners, like Alliance, is a critical step in offering a full system of integrated hardware and software solutions.
“We're excited for the opportunity to work with Alliance Corporation, a premier IT systems supplier that interfaces with many of our target customers,” said Kirk Byles, VP, Sales, FreeWave Technologies. “As the proliferation of Industrial IoT continues, FreeWave and Alliance are well-positioned to provide our collective customer base with best-in-class service and wireless technology solutions.”
FreeWave’s IIoT and M2M networking solutions are specifically designed to solve communication and process control challenges at the edge of the IT network, or in challenging environments where other communication technologies aren't able to perform. Companies in energy, utilities, municipalities, government, and education work with FreeWave to deploy technology solutions for enabling Sensor-2-Server communications. These technology solutions are set to be featured at FreeWave's IWCE booth.
“FreeWave provides innovative technology solutions for many enterprise, industrial and government organizations looking to enable innovation at the edge of their networks. We are eager to support FreeWave's world-class channel of integrators and supply them with not only FreeWave radios, but the necessary accessories required to complete a project,” said Scott McClure, VP, broadband, Alliance Corporation. “Our partnership with FreeWave is beneficial for everyone and especially for our customers who face networking challenges in the age of digital transformation initiatives.”
