Newvem Introduces a New iOS Application

The company that provides cloud analytics for Amazon Web Services (News - Alert) (AWS), Newvem, is launching its first iOS application. This proprietary application for iPhones and iPads will allow company executives to see the costs and assets of Amazon Web Services while they are in team meetings by utilizing their information clouds.

Newvem’s Cloud Smart Reader will provide company executives cost and performance indicators to help manage and track their cloud usage. When Newvem’s Analytics is used in conjunction with the Cloud Smart Reader, executives can pick up on unexpected costs, risks and inventory and receive advice from Newvem to counter these issues.

Newvem takes advantage of the existing iOS tools that creates vibrant experiences for users, has enhanced analytics, and is easily shared with other users. Some of the important features of this app are:

  • The ability to view the developments in costs, risks and assets within the Amazon Web Service.
  • Enhanced graphics for better presentations and easier visibility.
  • Risk reports on spending, security, utilization, and availability.
  • An easy sharing tool for group collaboration.
  • Complete functionality with iPhones and iPads.

The co-founder and CEO of Newvem, Zev Laderman, sees it as fulfilling a gap in the market; "Current mobile apps do not take full advantage of the feature-rich iPad and iPhone (News - Alert) native environment that can provide a true smart meter experience for AWS users.” Newvem provides its users with the ability to “easily and clearly see how much of their AWS is currently in use”; as a result, users can “subsequently use only what they need.” Laderman went on to describe the benefits, “Ultimately, AWS users win with an intuitive and effective experience that helps them to always have what they want to know at any time and from any place, thus enabling a more profitable, scalable, and efficient cloud."

Newvem has provided many tools to help Amazon Web Services user to more easily grasp the technology of the cloud since the beginning of the year. This tool is one that will, undoubtedly, be much-used.
