In a recent release, Pragma Systems, a provider of enterprise-class remote access and SSH solutions, announced the release of its next secure systems administration platform, Telemote.

The initial Telemote customer is Change Healthcare, a healthcare services and IT company formed by McKesson Corporation and Change Healthcare, who reportedly adopted Pragma Telemote in order to provide remote support to hospitals worldwide that use the company's high-resolution imaging stations.

Telemote is a comprehensive systems management platform built to provide maximum security from the ever-evolving variety of hacks and threats. It is built with Pragma’s FIPS, US Army Certified and Cisco (News - Alert) UC APL tested SSH communications layers, and it provides six core sysadmin functions: screen access of remote machines via Telemote protocol, dashboard to manage systems, secure file transfer, remote PowerShell sessions, remote SSH command line, and Microsoft (News - Alert) RDP screen access.

“Telemote has a rich feature set that met our needs for global support and sysadmin tasks of medical imaging stations we have in hospitals worldwide,” said Alex Korolev, Senior Systems Engineer, Change Healthcare. “Pragma is known for advanced products and we are pleased to work with them to adopt Telemote across our various groups and departments company-wide.”

“Pragma is known worldwide for its command line tools. Now we enter the graphical remote access market to serve our large install base who were clamoring for a secure product from us,” said David Kulwin, CTO, Pragma.

Telemote runs in all current Windows operating systems and has full support for Windows 10 and Windows Server 2016.
