Platform Warriors: Battle of the Platforms Delivers Four Winners

Much like the Thunderdome, only bigger, at the Battle of the Platforms, 10 platform vendors went into the arena, and only four came out.

TMC and Crossfire Media on August 17 announced the winners of the Battle of the Platforms competition at the IoT Evolution Expo at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, Nevada. The Battle of the Platforms showcased the latest platforms, designed to manage and deliver IoT solutions.

Battle of the Platforms included a cross section of solutions that were judged on product differentiation, competitive evaluation and implementation best practices. Participants included Accelerated, AnyPresence, DJI, KORE, Mera Software Services, Inc., Numerex (News - Alert), Opengear, Onstream, PubNub and Systech Corporation.

The judges were from each of the major carriers: Doug Wilson  of Verizon, Pete Wilson of Telefonica, Angel Mercedes of T-Mobile (News - Alert), Scott Scheuber of US Cellular and Jared Peterson of AT&T.
