By Ken Briodagh September 02, 2016

Black Hat, the information security event giants, has announced the first 30 talks on the lineup for its upcoming conference in London, which will focus in on  a number of brand new vulnerabilities (and defenses) that will potentially make waves in industries from the IoT to mobile devices.

Black Hat Europe 2016 will run November 1 to 4 at the Business Design Centre, in London, England.

Black Hat will kick off with two days of intense technical trainings, with the following two days being full of subject-specific briefings, including: Mobile and Cellular Vulnerabilities, Breaking the IoT in consumer and enterprise applications, Exploit Development and Defense, New Approaches to Reverse Engineering and Smart Grid and Industrial Security Research. Be sure to for the latest Briefings schedule as they're added.

Black Hat is a center of information security at the bleeding edge, and every (white and black hat) hacker in the world follows the revelations and solution outlined there to look for better defenses and meet with their peers on the absolute pinnacle of the IT, Internet and IoT security industries. As  we prepare for the IoT Evolution Expo, to be held in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, February 7 to 10, 2017, where we will also be putting a white hot spotlight on security issues, rest assured we will be keeping an eye on Black Hat Europe and bringing you the news that you need to know.

There is no silver bullet to mitigate the security flaws inherent in a network of things that is approaching 5 billion connected devices, but your best defense is knowledge. And the place to get it is from IoT Evolution World and the Security Track at IoT Evolution Expo.
