Logic Supply Launches IoT Contest, Offers 4G LTE Hardware Prize

By Ken Briodagh May 15, 2017

Industrial PC manufacturer Logic Supply has announced that it is on the hunt for inventors and innovators that are using 4G cellular connectivity to create the next generation of IoT connected devices. The company wants to reward the best new minds with free Extrovert 4G-equipped Logic Supply industrial computers to facilitate as many as five of the most exciting project proposals submitted to its “Be an Extrovert” contest, already underway.

“Effective wireless communication is an absolutely vital component of today's increasingly connected, IoT landscape,” said Murat Erdogan, Senior Product Manager, Logic Supply. “We created our Extrovert 4G LTE (News - Alert) modems to enable hardware users to harness that connectivity easily and cost effectively, and we're excited to see what they can do with it.”

To win a customized industrial computer valued at up to $2,000, hopeful participants should submit project pitches at logicsupply.com/be-an-extrovert. Logic Supply will review the proposals and choose winners based on the following criteria:

Winners will work with a Logic Supply Hardware Specialist to select and configure a system to meet the specific needs of their project from among the company’s product line. Winning projects will be profiled on the Logic Supply website, The I/O Hub blog, and social media channels.

Helping to empower IoT innovators and streamline the complex 4G certification process, the Extrovert line of modems is designed to connect Logic Supply industrial computers to the 4G LTE network. Extrovert technology doesn’t need dongles or external devices, and is approved by the PTCRB and GCF governing bodies and pre-certified to operate on the Verizon (News - Alert) and AT&T networks.
