Dr. James McCaffrey is a Senior Research Scientist Engineer for Microsoft (News - Alert) Research. He has a PhD from the University of Southern California, a BA in cognitive psychology from the University of California at Irvine, a BA in applied mathematics, and an MS in computer science. In his session with Richard Barrett of Cypress Semiconductor, Autonomous Autos and New Transportation Models, attendees will learn about some factors driving autonomy in connected transportation and what markets stand to gain the most.
