MIT Professional Education Launches New Courses & Certificate Programs

MIT Professional Education, a gateway to MIT (News - Alert) research, knowledge and expertise through education programs, recently announced the launch of two new professional certificate programs, in addition to the existing three professional certificate programs, and seven additional courses for the summer of 2019. The expanded offerings are designed to meet the market demand for talent with specialized technical and engineering leadership skills.

“Virtually every profession is being impacted by emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence, 3D printing and blockchain. In response, MIT Professional Education is adding several timely courses and certificate programs to our robust portfolio. These new learning options are designed to address the critical skills and specialized knowledge necessary to succeed in a 21st century technology workforce,” said Bhaskar Pant, Executive Director, MIT Professional Education.

2019 Short Programs now feature the following new courses:

All courses are taught by MIT faculty and take place on-campus in Cambridge, a world-renowned hub for innovation and technology. Learners can take individual 2-5-day short courses or pursue a full Professional Certificate program. The two new certificates both require a minimum of three core courses, one elective and at least 16 days of classroom time over a period of 36 months.
