Kerlink Names CyRIC Official Distributor in Cyprus

The IoT is a global entity, influencing industries of all shapes and sizes, from agriculture and manufacturing, to HVAC and healthcare. A particular segment of connectivity surging currently is LoRaWAN, and some big news today from Cyprus on that front.

French IoT solutions provider Kerlink named IoT end-to end network and solutions provider CyRIC its official distributor in Cyprus, building on a track record of successful LoRaWAN powered pilot projects.

The two companies are not new to each other. Years of hand and hand effort took projects like the Nicosia Water Board Automatic Water Metering over the top while sharing the story of LoRaWAN. The duo will now integrate Kerlink’s Wirnet outdoor gateways, Wirnet iFemtoCell indoor gateways and Wanesy Management Center in customized wireless LoRaWAN networks with CyRIC software and hardware solutions.

“Establishing CyRIC IoT as a Kerlink Silver Partner is strategically important to both companies and will accelerate the adoption and growth of LoRaWAN-based solutions in the fast-evolving Cyprus market,” said Michalis Stylianou, manager – CyRIC IoT Commercial & Business Development Department. “This partnership is an important milestone and a step forward for CyRIC IoT to offer its customers the opportunity to transform their businesses with LoRaWAN® solutions.”

LoRaWAN is a low-power, wide area networking protocol for wirelessly connecting battery operated devices to the Internet enabling mobility, localization, end-to-end security and bi-directional communication services. It is central to IoT reaching its potential.

What IoT initiative is your organization working on? Can LoRaWAN help?
