ioXt Alliance Announces Certification for 34 New IoT Devices and Mobile Apps

Standards and certifications serve as a sturdy platform for IoT development.  Always a popular topic at IoT Evolution Expo, standards promote scalability, interoperability and security.

The ioXt Alliance announced the certification of 34 new IoT devices and mobile apps, each meeting or exceeding the global standard for IoT security.  

The newly certified devices and applications meeting the eight ioXt pledge principles:

  2. Secured Interfaces
  3. Proven Cryptography
  4. Security by Default
  5. Verified Software
  6. Automatic Security Updates
  7. Vulnerability Reporting Program
  8. Security Expiration Date

Companies earning device and app certification include Google (News - Alert), Motorola, Tuya, Lenovo and Distech Controls.
