Mobile X Global Merges with Electro-Sensors

By Greg Tavarez June 14, 2022

Mobile X Global is a connectivity-as-a-service AI company that is delivering personalized services and individualized plans for wireless customers. Looking to further expand, Mobile X Global enetered into an agreement with Electro-Sensors, manufacturer of industrial monitoring systems, to merge and rename the combined company as Mobile X Global Inc. as well as launch a new wireless brand, Mobile X.

The launch of Mobile X is expected to disrupt the wireless industry. The merger partners also expect Mobile X Global's cloud-native platform to enable synergies between Mobile X and Electro-Sensors' wireless industrial sensor business.

The company will use its proprietary CaaS-AI cloud-native platform, XO.1, and its network agreement to provide personalized wireless data, voice and messaging services initially to customers nationwide across the U.S., with a commercial launch expected later this year.

The company, expanding internationally under the Mobile X brand, will leverage the XO.1 platform capabilities to create a consistent global connectivity experience for its customers. Mobile X will employ AI, machine learning and real-time usage information to learn each customer's connectivity requirements and provide optimized individual pricing. The XO.1 platform also will allow customers to switch across multiple global networks.

"This merger will position us for rapid growth," said Peter Adderton, founder and CEO of Mobile X Global. "We believe the new combined company will also provide the vehicle for future expansion, so that we can serve a new generation of borderless consumers and use our proprietary XO.1 platform to help connect the billions of IoT devices expected worldwide. We expect to help millions of wireless customers save money at a time when they really need it."

Adderton will become the chairman and CEO of the combined company upon closing.

Mobile X Global and Electro-Sensors are committed to retaining Electro-Sensors' existing employees and customers. Senior management of Electro-Sensors is expected to continue and assist in the integration of the combined company and the operation of the existing sensor business.
