IoT Provider Senseware Rebrands to Attune as Technologies Evolve

By Alex Passett January 12, 2023

Benchmarks for success in a given marketplace crop up in myriad forms. Acquisitions, expansions, new product roll-outs, and so on. Often, another such indicator can be a rebranding following worthwhile headway being made, as is the case for IoT company Senseware, now with a different name: Attune.

Attune’s rebranding, in many ways, reflects the company’s progression since its roots in technology took hold back in 2014. In present day, Attune has 45 U.S. patents and is in place in 45 U.S. states, as well as Canada and Mexico. Their patented technology uses a unique modular industrial design to connect sensors, meters, equipment, and other accessible data sources in a built environment within mere minutes. Their solutions are wireless and retrofittable, creating a novel IoT architecture that integrates next-gen sensors on the fly, greatly increases the number of product variations, and drastically reduces the time to market.

“Nine years ago,” said Serene (News - Alert) Al-Momen, PhD, Co-Founder and CEO of Attune, “we started with a focus on successfully bringing first-of-its-kind, sensor-based tech and no-code sensor reconfigurations to market through our IoT hardware platform. As we scaled our business, we knew that we could respond faster than the competition in meeting the changing digital transformation needs of our customers.”

“And in the wake of increased attention ESG, health and wellness, and climate change, organizations and their staff demand increased transparency. So do we. Our customers have the assurance that their critical data and insights will be maintained with 360-degree, 24/7 situational awareness, and it’s this critical data that allows us to take real, appropriate action to solve necessary IoT problems.”

Attune’s customizable, real-time data solutions are responsive to customers’ needs and are designed to evolve, just as the company has, as data requirements change.

The company has also greatly expanded the reach of their IoT platform in delivering products across various PropTech disciplines such as water and energy efficiency and consumption, HVAC asset condition monitoring (ACM), Indoor Air Quality (IAQ), and remote facility management.

Overall, Attune’s new name, one that signifies how they’ve attuned to the times and to IoT and more, is in line with their continued strides in the market.
