The following is a somewhat unexpected statement, but a.) it’s still an important and b.) it’s highly relevant to this news piece.
That statement:
“This sure is a good month for antennas.”
Okay, hear me out.
The long-story-short version of this is that Pasternack, an Infinite (News - Alert) Electronics brand and a top provider of radio frequency (RF) products, has launched its state-of-the-art IoT multiband combination antennas. These IoT antennas utilize 4G, 5G, Wi-Fi and GPS technologies, making them quite valuable for base stations, fleet vehicles and fleet managers, as well as for emergency personnel and first-aid responders.
The longer version isn’t too much longer: It’s Halloween and Thanksgiving will be here before we know it, but earlier this October I published two other articles about IoT antennas. One of them (found here) covered Fairview Microwave, a supplier of on-demand RF and microwave products. (i.e. not dissimilar to Pasternack)
In fact, as fate would have it, both Fairview and Pasternack fall under the Infinite Electronics umbrella. I’m a sucker for a timely callback, so naturally this Pasternack news rang a bell.
Pasternack’s new IoT antennas reliably bridge multiple communication channels and enhance mobile connectivity. They come equipped with dedicated ports, supporting up to 10 leads, and their precision-driven GPS/GNSS functionality with LNA (with 26 dB gain) ensure users are always accurately pinpointed.
“The antennas feature a blend of diverse band elements consolidated in a single radome,” the official announcement read, “pushing the boundaries of conventional mobile network tools.” They feature FAKRA and SMA (News - Alert) connectors with 17-foot cable leads, as well as MIMO capabilities and an IP69K rating, certifying them for both indoor and outdoor deployments.
