Happy Hump Day, y’all.
This morning, we’re talking about Wialon and its fleet management software solutions.
With 20+ years of experience in IoT and telematics, Wialon supports a network of more than 2,700 channel partners in 160 countries (and counting). Many of Wialon’s long-time partners are small and medium-sized enterprises, and Wialon’s M.O. is to continue equipping them with advanced IoT capabilities, empowering them to better compete in their respective markets. By leveraging what Wialon has on offer, these SMEs can launch and run with their unique business operations without requiring extensive development investments, which saves big-time on costs, resources and, well, time.
Speaking of time, Wialon announced on Monday some remarkable growth numbers, spanning the last nine years or so. It has reached a record number of connected vehicles (i.e. 4 million), representing an actual tenfold increase since 2015. That is wild.
It also marks Wialon as one of the largest fleet management, GPS tracking and IoT software providers in the world.
Here’s another contextual note about Wialon, taken from Monday’s announcement:
“The Wialon platform helps connect, track and monitor vehicles and assets ranging from HGVs and LCVs to public buses, agricultural vehicles and equipment, construction vehicles and equipment, energy generators, fuel tanks, waste management trucks, etc. Wialon deploys across varied industries, ranging from logistics and transportation, to agriculture, construction, energy and waste management.”
With Wialon software, users can respond to events in split seconds. They can also reduce mileage, track assets within specified areas via geofence control, monitor driver behavior in order to prevent accidents, and optimize workforce management in several other ways.
“Fleet management solutions are of the utmost importance to businesses, as they are the backbone of operational success,” shared Aliaksandr Kuushynau, Head of Wialon. “Year after year, we’ve been seeing increased adoption of telematics, as well as a higher emphasis on safety and data analytics, supporting efficiency and sustainability in fleet operations. This is what we do.”
