PNMsoft: Helping Patient Care to Thrive

If you’ve ever experienced hospice or home medical care, you know that it takes a talented and compassionate group of people to assist in caring for your loved one.


PNMsoft, a provider of Intelligent BPM Software (iBPMS) solutions, recently partnered with Amedar Consulting Group to hold a webinar, “A Case Study of Business Process Management (BPM) & Internet of Things (IoT)”. During this webinar, PNMsoft talked about an in-depth case study regarding a telemedicine solution that employs both BPM software and IoT devices.


The webinar’s main focus was on the combination of BPM and IoT and how it enhances all aspects of hospice patient care and internal procedures for medical staff. The webinar also discussed how to improve the flow of medical information and organizational issues related to activities conducted by the Hospice. Finally, it covered about how to support the management of home care and care provided at hospices on an operational level.


The Sequence technology assists in the process of accepting patients to their technology that they use to send the vital patient information to hospice and home care teams. Sequence has the ability to detail every important medical fact about a patient from their medical history to their most recent test result.
 
PNMsoft’s devices enables supports the process of admission and queuing for admission of patients. Also it support the process of discharge of patients from the medical care unit and allowing employees to access data online and interview patients and capture the results on various devices.

“BPM and IoT are transforming organizations, from energy suppliers, to manufacturers, utilities and also healthcare,” stated James Luxford, CTO, PNMsoft. “The ability to manage and change processes on the go is extremely important and allows companies to be more efficient and effective.”
