The Smart City Event Launches with a Bang - Limited Speaking Opportunities Still Available

By IoTEvolutionWorld News October 16, 2017

IoT Evolution Expo’s new event is accepting speaking proposals for a limited number of spots

Trumbull, CT – October 16, 2017 – TMC and Crossfire Media today announced IoT Evolution Expo has expanded and launched The Smart City Event which is seeking speaker suggestions through October 27, 2017. The event will be held January 22-25, 2018 at Disney’s Contemporary Hotel, in Orlando Florida and will be focused on how connected solutions will drive city wide improvements, better quality of life for residents and business opportunity for enterprises. Because the response to The Smart City Event has been so great already, the available speaking spots are very limited and interested parties submit their proposals as soon as possible.

“Disney world is probably the original smart city and since the lessons of opening day at Disney Land, Disney has been a leader in traffic management, logistics planning and safety strategies.  Being in the Contemporary gives us the chance to remember what we thought the future would be like and how to come up with contingency plans for the realities of smart cities in the future. In addition we are lucky to have municipalities join us to share the experience in developing sustainable, citizen friendly solutions,” said Carl Ford, CEO, Crossfire Media, executive director of content, IoT Evolution.

For full details and to submit a proposal, please visit the call for speaker section of the website. For questions, please contact Carl Ford. Please submit you speaking request on the following topics:

  • Planning for Smart, Safe & Secure Cities
  • Smart Phones, Smart Citizens and the Social Good
  • Clean Water and Other Utilities
  • Commuting Delays with Smart Traffic
