By IoTEvolutionWorld News October 31, 2017

Leading analysts join internet of things event in Florida in February for a special panel discussion.

Trumbull, CT – October 31, 2017 – TMC and Crossfire Media today announced a special panel discussion, Analyze This at IoT Evolution Conference and Expo being held January 22-25, 2018 at Disney’s Contemporary Orlando, Florida. Show after show, IoT Evolution Expo has proved to be leading educational and networking forum for the enterprise looking to understand how to develop and implement IoT solutions that drive measurable results and business transformation. This year the conference will expand to include three new collocated events, IoT Evolution Healthcare, The Smart City Event and the Industrial IoT Conference.

“Facts don't lie, but occasionally they have a deeper truth that needs to be found and explored.  We are looking at IoT analytics to understand where the predictive and prescriptive metrics that makes IoT a drive in business intelligence and operations,” said Carl Ford, CEO, Crossfire Media, executive director of content, IoT Evolution. “The use of machine learning and artificial intelligence starts with pattern recognition and with strong analytics the benefits move beyond human comprehension.”

The Analyze This special panel discussion moderated by Carl Ford will look why there is such deviation in projections for the number of IoT devices. How do we account for the different projections for IoT solutions between 20B to 50B IoT devices deployed by 2020? Is this a problem with Hype, or the presumption that starts the count? The analysis will examine verticals, and core assumptions about the projections and current opportunities.

Panelists include:

  • James Brehm, Founder and Chief Technology Evangelist, James Brehm & Associates,
  • Steve Brumer, Partner, 151 Advisors
  • Alex Glaser, Vice President, Harbor Research
