IoT Evolution World Week in Review: IoT Evolution Expo Special

By Ken Briodagh February 04, 2017

Hello folks. It’s almost time for the IoT Evolution Expo, and as we get closer to the IoT Evolution Expo, beginning Tuesday, I’d like to get us ready with a news roundup leading up to the show. It’s time to do our Week in Review.

In our lead story this week, I wrote about how the Expo has found a perfect home in Florida, a market where, according to the stateofflorida.com site, the leading markets are ideally suited to leveraging Internet of Things technology like what’s being discussed at the IoT Evolution Expo and leading the Next Industrial Revolution.

And now, the news: Our excellent Correspondent, Cynthia Artin, wrote a piece about HARMAN and how that company will be working next week at IoT Evolution Expo. She’s been covering the company for the last year, and will be sharing its views on how IoT will significantly change and even disrupt the products, services and support systems for consumer goods.

Bayshore Networks, a cybersecurity leader for the Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT), recently announced that it will be exhibiting and presenting at a major industrial IoT event in Florida next week: IoT Evolution Expo in Ft. Lauderdale.

In a recent announcement, Litmus Automation called for IoT professionals to join them at the IoT Evolution Expo to make connections and experience the latest in Litmus’ connected car and industrial IoT platform technologies with live demos on the show floor.

In a recent announcement, IoT Evolution Expo sponsor Ingenu, RPMA pioneer and specialist in machine to machine connectivity, has outlined a new strategic global agreement with Arrow Electronics (News - Alert) to provide Ingenu’s wireless machine-to-machine connectivity and certified modules to Arrow’s global customer base.

On the IoT Time Podcast, It was all about the Expo, and I had amazing conversations with Carl Ford and Bill Sell, Brian Taney of Get Wireless, Aviram Hinenzon at Verisae, and cyber security expert Larry Karisny. If you are a listener of the podcast, make sure to use the special IoT Time discount code to register at a discount for the IoT Evolution Expo. Of course, you’ll have to listen to an episode to get the code.

There’s plenty more to read, listen to and watch, so visit us on IoT Evolution World for all the IoT news, my friends. Now is the time to put into your calendar the next IoT Evolution Expo, to be held in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Also, please get in touch with us when you have stories. As always, if you have questions, comments, complaints or compliments, please send them to me, editorial director Ken Briodagh at kbriodagh@tmcnet.com or on Twitter (News - Alert) @KenBriodagh.
