TMC, IoT Evolution Announce Product of the Year Award Winners

Connected devices are expected to continue to proliferate at a blistering pace. The number of IoT endpoints worldwide numbered around 14.9 billion at the end of last year, according to IDC. And by 2025, the research firm expects there to be 82 billion IoT devices. Meanwhile, IDC says, the amount of data generated by the IoT will increase by 10 times.

That means the companies that deliver, implement, and support IoT deployments and devices need to be sure that they are manageable, scalable, and secure. Only that way will IoT solutions meet their promise.

To recognize those companies working to ensure that happens, IoT Evolution and its parent company, Technology Marketing Corp., stage this annual awards program.

We now present to youthe IoT Evolution Product of the Year award winners.

Decisiv Inc.

Service Relationship Management aPaaS

This platform is a fully integrated, end-to-end service event management solution for commercial assets. It connects the service supply chain to enable real-time communication and collaboration. And it puts controls in place to ensure service event management consistency.

It allows users to track, manage, and measure service events regardless of asset type or service location. It provides real-time visibility into what is being worked on along with a new level of transparency and accountability throughout the entire service event management process.

It also helps automate key service event processes, ensures access to in-context information, and eliminates the need to manually enter data. That cuts down on errors and speeds up the service event management process.

Bayshore Networks

Bayshore Industrial Cyber Protection Platform

This solutionhelps stop cyber threats before they can damage critical industrial assets and systems, and allows for secure connection to the industrial internet of things.

Its real-time monitoring and deep content filtration of industrial protocols offers actionable insights by identifying changes to assets and traffic, anomalies from baseline behavior, and violations of specific pre-established policies. Active alerting and optional blocking of offending communication and commands prevent cyber threats from affecting targeted objects and data. And because Bayshore operates at wire speed, and protection is provided at a fine-grained transaction level, authorized traffic continues to flow unimpeded – allowing normal operations to continue even in the face of ongoing cyberattacks.

Bayshore also can establish trusted communication channels with outside entities, while controlling the content communicated over those channels. Third-party contractors, for instance, can be allowed remote access to a specific machine. And their interactions with that machine can be policy protected to prevent unauthorized activity. This solution also does automated identification and inventory of devices, networks, and systems. And it can convert industrial data into formats consumable by business analytics programs.
