Litmus Automation Software Certified on HPE Edgeline IoT Gateways

By Ken Briodagh May 01, 2017

In a recent announcement, Litmus Automation, an Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) platform provider, made public a new partnership with Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) through joining the HPE Technology Partner Program and achieving certification for the Litmus LoopEdge gateway software and HPE Edgeline IoT Gateways. With the partnership, customers can now purchase an HPE Edgeline IoT Gateway and run Litmus LoopEdge right out of the box for Industrial IoT applications.

LoopEdge is designed to simplify the process of creating IIoT solutions, providing connectivity through legacy protocols, managing many gateways, and accessing a marketplace of applications for data analytics.

“Companies are facing many challenges with implementing IIoT solutions from solving problems at the edge when working in legacy environments to accessing data in the cloud,” said Olivier Frank, Worldwide Senior Sales Director and Alliances IoT, HPE. “Now, with HPE Edgeline Gateways combined with LoopEdge, they have access to an incredible combination of hardware and software making it easier to get started with IoT, collecting and analyzing valuable data at the edge.”

Companies can now collect data into an HPE Edgeline IoT Gateway from any third-party legacy device or industrial system with a codeless drag and drop interface. Once data is collected, processed and filtered, LoopEdge provides secure connectivity to the Loop platform. This solution allows device management down to the edge as well as data normalization before it is seamlessly integrated to various enterprise systems for analysis, visualization and increased ROI.

“LoopEdge running on HPE Edgeline IoT Gatways provides an industrial-grade, networked solution to deliver secure connectivity for great insight using data at the edge,” said Vatsal Shah, CEO/Co-founder, Litmus Automation. “We are pleased to partner with HPE at this stage and are excited about combining the power of their intelligent gateways with our software so industrial companies can quickly access and use the data in their field and factory environments to drive better business operations.”
