Precision Equipment Manufacturing Rolls Out Dealer Service Portal

By Ken Briodagh April 17, 2017

In a recent release, Mize and Precision Equipment Manufacturing have announced that Precision Equipment has rolled out a new Dealer Service Portal, powered by Mize Connected Customer Experience Platform and Smart Blox for Registration, Warranty, Parts, and Knowledge.

Precision Equipment Manufacturing is a producer of trailers for the Agricultural and Construction Industries, and also manufactures portable heaters that use magnetic fields to generate heat.

“We want to improve both our Quality and Warranty procedures. The current system we have is hard to work with and doesn't show us the information we are looking for when it comes to both the Quality and Warranty sides,” said Joel Jorgenson, President, Precision Equipment Manufacturing. “We wanted a simple and easy-to-use system for dealers to submit warranty claims, access parts catalogs and service manuals.”

Mize Connected Customer Experience Platform, and Smart Blox, have been implemented to enable the company to now support an expanding dealer network by using a subscription model for companies with growing dealer networks, complete with Warranty lifecycle management software in Cloud on a SaaS model

“We are excited that Precision Equipment Manufacturing has selected Mize to enable their network with a Service Portal,” said Ashok Kartham, CEO, Mize. “Our solution simplifies and unifies warranty, parts and service solution to manufacturers such as Precision Equipment.”

Precision Equipment is building telemetry software into its products, allowing for observation and control of heaters operating in remote locations from a cell phone or computer. The software has both preventative and predictive maintenance capabilities, allowing for Precision Equipment to send out a kit to a customer that will fix a problem that hasn’t happened yet.

“We have the advanced heating, electronics, and telemetry in our magnetic heating products,” said Jorgenson. “Mize connected customer experience platform will enable us to connect better with dealers, customers, and products to deliver more proactive service.”
