A True Beacon for IoT: 1NCE's Industry Successes, Leadership Change-Ups, and the Road Ahead

By Alex Passett October 10, 2024

Good afternoon, readers.

It’s been quite a hot minute — since February, if memory serves — since we talked about software and connected products innovator 1NCE.

Let’s recap.

Since my first time covering 1NCE nearly two years ago, 1NCE has straight-up slam dunked a number of connectivity wins for what’s presently the collective (and still-expanding) IoT ecosystem. Our past 1NCE headlines have included much of the following:

1NCE continues to work in — and strategically sell, to operators and myriad customers the world over — pure simplicity. As often stated by Ivo Rook, who previously held the position of 1NCE’s Chief Operating Officer, “Connectivity doesn’t have to be as complex as the world makes it seem.” This rings true, since removing gargantuan Internet of Things complexities in connectivity is key. (It is, after all, the lifeblood of IoT.)

This brings us to brand-new announcements that hit our inboxes earlier today:

1NCE officially announced several new appointments for its executive team — Sven Adler as Chief Financial Officer, Arne Aßmann as Chief Strategy Officer, Jennifer Haag as Chief Human Resources Officer, and Nicolas Martinez-Fresno as Chief Sales and Marketing Officer.

Additionally, Ivo Rook was promoted to Co-CEO.

According to 1NCE, its founder Alexander P. Sator will continue as Co-CEO of 1NCE (now with a deeper focus on corporate development). As fellow Co-CEO, Rook will reportedly focus on “guiding the company leadership team in delivering growth, quality operations and relentless execution.”

Here’s a quick handful of notes on each of the above-mentioned leaders:

At the time of this article’s publication, 1NCE is ranked as one of the fastest-growing companies in the IoT marketplace. With 23,000+ customers (and data collected from 30 million managed endpoints across a total of 173 countries), 1NCE and its newly expanded leadership are expected to add even more endpoints as its team becomes a truly renowned and relied-upon global brand.

“Becoming a global brand demands the best and brightest leaders from across tech, and we’re thrilled for elite talent like Arne, Jenny, Nicolas and Sven to be on the executive team,” Sator expressed.

Congratulations are in order to these folks involved. It’ll be very interesting to see what else 1NCE has in store; for the remainder of 2024, for 2025, and beyond.
