Biometric Technology Takes its Role in Security Packages

By Ken Briodagh January 19, 2017

Sensory, a Silicon Valley company enhancing user experience and security for consumer electronics, and innerCore, provider of payment processing systems and cybersecurity solutions, have announced a global partnership with the goal of helping banks, enterprises and financial institutions worldwide to bolster security of data sensitive mobile apps.

As part of the end-to-end secure user authentication platforms it offers, innerCore now offers its customers the ability to integrate Sensory’s TrulySecure face and voice biometric authentication into their apps, providing users a more secure and convenient experience.

“TrulySecure is a perfect example of how an elegant fusion of face and voice biometric recognition can be used to provide a very high level of user security without complicating the process of authenticating users,” said Robert Hayes, President and CEO, innerCore. “Enterprise customers from several different kinds of industries are interested in using embedded face and voice authentication as a critical part of their cyber identity applications, so it is especially exciting to be working with Sensory to make TrulySecure part of the security solutions packages we offer.”

As digital commerce and banking apps around the world have moved toward mobile payment and wallet applications, demand has significantly grown for fraud and theft prevention technology that is frictionless to the end user. The TrulySecure biometric technology includes the following capabilities:

  • Deployable on new and existing devices with no special sensors required
  • Simple UI
  • Fast enrollment and use; security improves with every use
  • Robust for environments with poor lighting or high noise
  • Anti-spoofing techniques such as motion and skin texture analysis
  • FIDO UAF Certified for vast compatibility with leading authentication platforms

“We find value in partnering with companies like innerCore to address the demand for secure in-app user authentication. As a value added reseller, innerCore is able to package TrulySecure as part of what they offer their customers, making it seamless for app developers, enterprises and financial institutions to update their apps with the security benefits offered by TrulySecure,” said Todd Mozer, CEO, Sensory.
