JMA Wireless Debuts 5G Network RAN Architecture at MWC Barcelona

By Ken Briodagh February 26, 2019

JMA Wireless, a wireless communications solutions provider, is exhibiting at MWC Barcelona, where it reportedly will showcase its new complete ultra-wideband LTE and 5G solutions architecture built around XRAN, TEKO, and PHAZR technologies.

The JMA Wireless PHAZR mmWave small cells are designed for environments such as offices, airports, stadium suites, and other areas that can take advantage of 5G spectrum performance. Combining PHAZR small cells with JMA’s XRAN provides LTE/5G NSA in-building/venue options. XRAN is a virtualized LTE RAN that uses JMA’s TEKO DAS or Cell Hub for RF distribution.

“For new networks to become truly transformative, they must be flexible in frequency support and compact enough to deploy in any scenario, indoors or out,” said Todd Landry, Corporate VP, Product and Market Strategy, JMA Wireless. “Unlike traditional network equipment, the technology must be founded on software that enables extreme agility and an entirely different operations experience.”

The IoT Evolution Expo, and collocated events, IoT Evolution Health, LPWAN Expo, The Smart City Event, and IIoT Conference, will take place Jan. 29 to Feb 1 in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. Visit to register now.
