Norwalk, Conn—March 24, 2014—Today TMC and Crossfire Media announced the expansion of its highly-anticipated Battle of the Platforms competition at M2M Evolution Conference & Expo. M2M Evolution, held August 11-14, 2014, at The Rio in Las Vegas, Nevada, is an event that explores the latest Machine-to-Machine (M2M) technologies, horizontal solutions and vertical applications. Battle of the Platforms is an exciting opportunity for leading companies to present cutting-edge M2M platforms, and for businesses to hear and see what the market has to offer. This year’s competition will be expanded from an evening of demonstrations to a full two days, and will commence on August 11 at 2:00 pm.
“M2M platforms are managing and delivering new efficiency across industries that include transportation, logistics, telematics, medical, smart grid, cold chain and more. The Battle of the Platforms will provide participants the opportunity to demonstrate their platform live to a panel of judges, as well as an audience of attendees and potential end-users. Judging will be based on the submission of a completed entry form plus the live demonstration. Five winners will be selected, one winner in each of the following categories:
