Mary Beth Hall brings innovative point-of-view on the Internet of Things to Fort Lauderdale conference
Norwalk, CT—January 16, 2017—TMC and Crossfire Media today announced Mary Beth Hall, Director, Global IoT Product and Development at Verizon, will present a keynote address at IoT Evolution Conference and Expo being held February 7-10, 2017 at the Greater Ft. Lauderdale/Broward County Convention Center in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. IoT Evolution Expo has evolved to become the leading educational and networking forum for the enterprise looking to understand how to develop and implement IoT solutions that drive measurable results and business transformation. The event will feature a robust exhibit floor, powerful keynotes, case studies, live demos, unique sessions, special events, networking opportunities and much more. Hall will deliver her keynote on Thursday, February 9 at 10:30 a.m.
Mary Beth Hall will discuss Verizon’s global strategy to simplify and lead the Internet of Things (IoT), through tools like ThingSpace, Verizon’s global platform for developers to create apps, better manage devices and for partners to market their services. She’ll also delve into Verizon’s strategy to accelerate innovation in IoT through CATM1 network deployments and the introduction of ThingSpace-ready modules like Qualcomm Technologies’ Cat M1 LTE modem.
“In the past year we’ve seen tremendous progress and, in conjunction with our technology partners, have led innovation around IoT technologies, making good on our commitment to prioritize IoT access and enablement. Launched in Oct of 2015, our Thingspace platform now hosts over 13,000 developers and continues to grow, providing a seamless and secure way to approach IoT” said Mary Beth Hall, Director of Product Development for IoT at Verizon.
“Verizon is known for its early adoption of LTE and its commitment to network leadership and quality for the customers they serve. When it comes to IoT, they are committed to delivering connectivity in a manner that matches the needs of ubiquity and performance,” said Carl Ford, CEO, Crossfire Media, executive director of content, IoT Evolution. “The insight Mary Beth will share with IoT Evolution Expo attendees will prove invaluable.”
