IIC Chief Technical Officer Stephen Mellor to share insights with IoT Evolution Audience
Trumbull, CT – April 24, 2017 – TMC and Crossfire Media today announced that Stephen Mellor, Chief Technical Officer at the Industrial Internet Consortium (IIC), will present a keynote address at IoT Evolution Conference and Expo to be held July 17-20, 2017 at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, Nevada. IoT Evolution Expo has become the leading educational and networking forum for the enterprise looking to understand how to develop and implement IoT solutions that drive measurable results and business transformation. The event will feature an exhibit floor, powerful keynotes, case studies, live demos, sessions, special events, networking opportunities and much more.
Mellor will deliver his keynote on Tuesday, July 18th at 3:00PM. In his presentation, he will explore how to prepare for the changing technological landscape. Drivers today are increased and ubiquitous connectivity and more capability to analyze large quantities of data. Drivers tomorrow—and in the decades to come—are less clear. Mellor will cover the strategies needed for this change, including security for everything, innovation as well as learning, deployment and competitiveness.
In addition, IIC members will present panel and standalone sessions on Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) frameworks, including the recently announced Industrial Internet Security Framework and Industrial Internet Connectivity Framework as well as sessions on how the IIC creates and conducts testbeds.
“The IIC looks forward to participating with Crossfire Media and TMC this July,” said Stephen Mellor, CTO, IIC. “I’m thrilled to discuss IoT strategies and IIC members are excited about presenting our recently announced frameworks and how IIC testbeds help advance the IIoT.”
“The Industrial Internet Consortium has worked to bring practical experience to the implementation of Internet of Things. Steve Mellor's keynote will be a guide to Enterprises who are looking for insight in planning, implementing and managing IoT in a variety of industrial situations,” said Carl Ford, CEO, Crossfire Media, Executive Director of Content, IoT Evolution.
