In a recent release PodM2M, a division of Pod Group, a Mobile Virtual Network Operator (MVNO) specializing in global IoT/M2M data connectivity solutions, will launch a complete connectivity solution designed for systems integrators and developers of telematics solutions at Mobile World Congress Americas (MWCA) in Los Angeles.
The new advanced solution is based on PodM2M’s experience in remote, mission critical applications that require maximum resilience. The new solution includes Pod’s recently launched hierarchical billing platform, Pod Billing, and advanced security solution, Pod Protect.
Users of the new solution will be able to use three levels of hierarchical billing as part of the connectivity package for telematics applications, allowing them to manage resellers and distributors with ease, and quickly create and bill value-added products and services to generate additional recurring revenue. They will also be able to deploy applications globally without the usual security concerns, since the solution includes advanced network security, with whitelisting of IPs for secure management of users, continuous threat detection via a probe on the network and the option of a direct network connection which avoids routing data over public channels.
“With fierce competition in the telematics sector, applications developers and systems integrators need to be able to quickly deploy solutions globally, without negotiating complicated network contracts, or worrying about network security issues, SIM card management and billing of their channel partners,” said Sam Colley, CEO, Pod Group USA. “Our new advanced telematics connectivity solution has been designed to take all these problems away from our customers, so they can focus on getting new products and services quickly to market. What’s more, it can be integrated with any hardware or device management software to create a customized solution and customers can choose from tried and tested products included in our Pod Partner Community (PPC) to find the best fit for their application.”
