Atos Origin and InfoGin Collaborate with Telefonica de Espana Mobile Business

Atos Origin and InfoGin have implemented a Web-to-mobile content adaptation solution that enables Telefonica de Espana mobile business to quickly introduce advanced mobile data services to its Spanish subscribers.
 
In its role as the prime contractor, Atos Origin, an international IT services company, was responsible for providing complete project management services as well as overall integration of InfoGin's Intelligent Mobile Platform (IMP). Leveraging InfoGin’s patented platform, Telefonica is able to offer its mobile users advanced Internet services in the most user friendly way on their mobiles.
 
With this new service, Telefonica de Espana mobile business, one of the largest wireless operators in Spain, offers its customers a world class experience to surf the Web. Mobile users can easily access any Internet Web site from their mobile independently of their devices’ capabilities. According to company sources, this new solution supports Telefonica’s strategy to facilitate access to mobile content and deliver innovative and attractive services to its subscribers giving an optimized access to Web sites that aren’t mobile compliant.
 
Telefonica Executive Key Account Manager, Atos Origin, Miguel Bravo, stated that they are very happy with the outcome of this collaboration, it has enabled them to provide end-to-end services to Telefonica’s end users and guarantee the highest quality of service requirements.
 
Bravo noted that the partnership builds on Atos Origin’s long track record of successful deployment and management of enhanced critical revenue services at Telefonica.
 
InfoGin is delighted that Telefonica has joined the list of global tier-1 operators in Europe, through its strategic move to provide mobile users with the best real Internet experience, according to Eran Wyler, CEO and founder of InfoGin who also believes this will inevitably drive a significant increase in user uptake of these new services over the coming years.
 
InfoGin is a pioneer in the field of Web-to-mobile content and functionality adaptation solutions.
