Wilson Electronics, North America’s leading maker of cellular signal boosters, recently announced that Broc Jenkins will be taking over as its Business Development Manager for M2M.
The company has been giving an increased emphasis to its M2M division since its launch a few years ago, to serve the company’s growing list of system integrators and device manufacturers that serve the wireless M2M market.
Jenkins will be responsible for increasing Wilson's presence in the M2M (machine-to-machine) segment. He willalso be responsible for developing the company’s M2M product strategy, in addition to interfacing with customers and managing internal departments.
Jenkins joined Wilson Electronics in 2009 as a technician in the technical support division and worked his way up to become a “technical support and customer service manager.” He has a wide knowledge in the company’s signal booster products and is also the primary trainer of new employees and new retailers.
Jenkins will be participating at the 2013 M2M Evolution Miami at the Beach Convention Center in Miami, where the company intends to provide direct information for visitors on signal boosting solutions designed for M2M applications.
Jenkins said that a Wilson signal booster would turn a spotty connectivity into solidly reliable signal for an M2M endpoint that is blocked by man-made structures or natural topography features. He also added that the company’s signal booster and antenna solution help M2M network expansion into weak-signal areas where the endpoints were previously not viable.
A leader in the wireless communication field for over four decades, Wilson Electronics designs and manufactures an extensive range of antennas, cell phone signal boosters and related components that significantly improve communication both in mobile and in machine-to-machine (M2M) applications. Wilson mobile signal boosters help field workers, commuters and others to stay connected.
