Zenlayer, Zadara Livin' on the Edge with Cloud Storage Services

By Maurice Nagle September 23, 2021

At IoT Evolution Expo in June, Zadara CEO Nelson Nahum took to the Keynote stage to discuss how cloud services are fueling Formula 1 results, but wins at the edge aren’t just on the race track. On-demand cloud services are playing a critical role in the enterprise.

This week, Zenlayer and Zadara unveiled a partnership to provide fully-managed cloud storage services at the edge. North American Zenlayer customers can now take advantage of Zadara’s zStorage currently, with the expectation of expanding into South America, China and India in the coming months.

Zenlayer’s VP of Partnerships and Alliance, Lawrence Lee noted, “This commitment to excellence means that we only partner with the best. Zadara is a pioneer in enterprise storage-as-a-service and was the first to offer it – making them a natural choice for us. Zadara’s zStorage solution simplifies clouds, increases productivity, and decreases costs for Zenlayer’s customers.”

Businesses can easily deploy the duo’s managed storage solutions from private collocation facilities, on-premises data centers or in the cloud via 100% OpEx model. The pairing allows Zenlayer to offer backup and disaster recovery on a global scale, including the edge.

All Zadara solutions are backed by 24/7/365 support, 100% uptime guarantee, proactive system management and non-disruptive hardware upgrades.

“At a time when organizations across the globe are shifting and redefining the ways in which they do business, simplifying storage and management to ensure greater efficiencies is more critical than ever before, explained Nelson Nahum, CEO and co-founder of Zadara. “We are excited to partner with Zenlayer and bring our fully-managed cloud services to their customers around the globe.”

Cloud services are carrying the day across verticals, offering a new paradigm for the enterprise and eagerness to embrace the digital age. Legacy solutions have a way of leaving organizations in the rear, as cloud continues to find the checkered flag.
