C3 and AWS Expand Collaboration to Drive Enterprise AI Adoption

By

C3 and Amazon Web Services (AWS) today announced an expanded collaboration focused on accelerating customers’ time to value with complex and strategic artificial intelligence (AI) applications across the enterprise.

Fueled by the successful adoption of the C3 Platform on AWS at more than 30 commercial and public sector organizations, C3 and AWS are increasing their investment in existing customer deployments, joint sales and go-to-market initiatives, a global event series, continuous technology integrations, and training on the joint solution for more than 5,000 sales and delivery professionals.

“Two years ago we embarked on an ambitious digital transformation effort to establish Engie as a leading force in the global energy transition. C3 and AWS provide a proven platform that help us rapidly address our most strategic AI, big data, and IoT business initiatives, and we are very pleased with our results thus far,” said Yves Le Gélard, Group CIO and Chief Digital Officer, Engie.

Leading organizations including Caterpillar, New York Power Authority, Duke Energy, John Deere, Enel, Engie, Consolidated Edison Company of New York, 3M, and the U.S. Air Force have deployed AI and machine learning applications with the C3 Platform on AWS. These applications address economically valuable use cases such as predictive maintenance, dynamic inventory and supply network optimization, fraud detection, sensor network health, and customer engagement. The C3 Platform benefits from the scale and security provided by over 40 integrations with AWS cloud services, including: Amazon Kinesis, SQS, AWS IoT, EMR, Athena, S3, RDS for Postgres, EC2, and more.

“As we expand our collaboration with C3, we are pleased to see the speed and scale at which C3 enables organizations to deliver AI solutions on AWS for our mutual customers,” said Mike Clayville, VP, Worldwide Commercial Sales and Business Development, Amazon Web Services. “AI-driven digital transformation has emerged as the defining strategic concept of the 21st century,” said Thomas M. Siebel, Chairman and CEO, C3. “CEOs are looking for AI-based solutions that redefine business processes and create a competitive advantage. AWS and C3 are delivering solutions that empower organizations to better serve customers, improve operations, and offer new business services.”
