Teradata Vantage Ready to Analyze All the Data, All the Time

By

Teradata, the pervasive data intelligence company, at its recent Teradata Analytics Universe conference, announced that Vantage, the company’s analytics platform, is now available to all customers.

Vantage is designed to help enterprises uncover actionable answers to the toughest business questions by integrating the best analytic functions and engines to provide a scalable, agile platform that enables organizations to drive business value. It also provides access to a wide variety of descriptive, predictive and prescriptive analytics; autonomous decision making; machine learning functions; visualization tools and more, deployed across public clouds, on-premises, on optimized or commodity infrastructure, or as-a-service.

“Teradata Vantage, the platform for pervasive data intelligence, is the answer to the frustration of today’s approach to analytics. Only Vantage can leverage all the data, all the time, so you can analyze anything, deploy anywhere and deliver analytics that matter,” said Oliver Ratzesberger, COO, Teradata. “Vantage dismantles the complexity and rises above the inadequacies of today’s analytics landscape. By making it simple for businesses to operationalize analytics on an enterprise-ready platform, Vantage can uncover the intelligence trapped in their data to discover answers that matter.”

Users can also access and analyze all their data without having to learn a new tool or language, or worry about where data is located. This streamlined access is bolstered by Vantage’s integration with popular third-party tools and analytic languages, meeting users where they are and allowing them to work in the environments they already know best.

Vantage enables users to extract trusted, actionable insights from data sources within an ecosystem that supports advanced analytic functions. Users also receive immediate access to functions such as math and statistics, data transformations, path, pattern, visualization, association, cluster, decision tree and text.

Teradata also provides more than 180 prebuilt analytic functions to transform, prepare, analyze, and visualize multi-structured data to address a wide number of business use cases, such as customer churn, path to purchase, marketing attribution, product affinity, fraud, marketing optimization and more. A native graph processing engine for graph analysis identifies and measures relationships between people, products and processes. Prebuilt graph analytic functions make it easy to solve complex business problems, such as social network/influencer analysis, fraud detection, supply chain management, and network analysis.
