Webinar to Address IoT Best Practices

By

We’ve been talking about the Internet of Things (IoT) for several years now. But, the fact is that, in practice, IoT is still a pretty new thing. Most companies that are implementing IoT efforts, or thinking about doing so, could probably use some help figuring out how to make them successful.

Organizations that find themselves in this position may be interested in an upcoming webinar from Cyient, a global engineering, manufacturing, networks, and operations management services provider.

On Dec. 13, Cyient will host a free webinar called “Shuffling the Deck: How IoT Fits into Your Organization.” It begins at 10 a.m. PST/1 p.m. EST.

Attendees will learn what steps are critical to a successful IoT implementation. They also will receive guidance on how to assess their readiness to implement IoT and get tips on other IoT best practices.

Sean Otto and Matt Winkler will serve as the featured presenters.

Otto currently leads business development for Cyient’s Advanced Analytics team, which designs artificial intelligence and machine learning models to improve the functionality and reliability of equipment and systems across industries.

Winkler is chief digital solutions architect for Cyient’s Industrial, Energy, and Natural Resources business unit. During his 12 years at Cyient, Winkler has led projects in engineering simulation, mechanical engineering, embedded electronics, and IoT for global clients in the aerospace, automotive, rail transportation, energy, mining, and heavy equipment domains.

The Dec. 13 live online event is the second in a three-part webinar series. The third one is called “Monetization Capabilities: Demonstrating the Value of IoT.” It will take place on Jan. 10.
