Nimbelink Joins IMC to Gain Access to IoT Buyers

By

Nimbelink, a provider of turnkey solutions for asset tracking and other applications, reportedly has joined the IoT M2M Council (IMC), a trade group serving the Internet of Things technology sector, for better access to OEMs and enterprise users that deploy the technology.

Nimbelink said it hopes to take advantage of the thought leadership and lead generation that the IMC provides.

“IMC's rank-and-file membership is largely comprised of business people trying to solve problems with IoT technology, and our solutions are designed to speed deployment cycles while providing them with lots of adaptability,” said Scott Schwalbe, CEO, Nimbelink, who will now sit on the IMC Board of Governors.

For its part, the IMC's membership covers 24 different vertical markets, with roughly 35 percent of its rank-and-file in North America and the rest dispersed globally. The group's latest projects have included a template RFP program to assist IoT buyers in sourcing software platforms and its exclusive relationship as the IoT Infrastructure partner to the Consumer Electronics Show, which attracts OEMs from the automotive, housewares, and medical device industries. Only IMC Board companies have access to its membership for purposes of thought leadership, lead-generation, promotion, and research.

“We welcome Nimbelink's participation on the IMC Board and are looking forward to their input on several key programs, including an expansion of the RFP program. We look at the IMC as an accelerator, and as a company that speeds deployment cycles, they should bring exactly the right perspective to the group,” said Volkhard Bregulla, VP, Global Manufacturing, Automotive, and IoT, HPE, and Chairman of the IMC Board of Governors.
