WISER to Exhibit and Speak at IoT Evolution Expo 2020

By

WISER Systems, a provider of ultra-wideband (UWB) asset tracking systems, has announced that the company will showcase new system features as part of its participation in IoT Evolution Expo 2020: The Thinking IoT Arrives! next month.

In addition to the system demonstration, the company has been invited to participate in the Industrial IoT Conference panel, “Smart Manufacturing Beyond Downtime.” WISER Solutions Engineer Logan Maxwell will address how technologies like the WISER Locator help drive value in manufacturing industries today.

“WISER helps manufacturers lower downtime and eliminate inefficiencies through automation of manual processes like scanning and data entry. We also provide quantification of movement of tagged assets,” Maxwell says. “Instead of scanning in a tote delivery to the line, for instance, a WISER tag on the asset can send location data to an existing asset management system. This automates the scan and eliminates missed reads. When a tag is applied to a moving asset, we can quantify pathing and dwell time, which allows greater efficiency in all kinds of plants.”

WISER will also be a sponsor at TagoIO Connect 2020 on February 11. TagoIO Connect is a one-day co-located event focused on “how to quickly and efficiently build powerful and custom IoT applications.” As an event sponsor, WISER will address and demonstrate how technologies like the WISER Locator pair with other IoT tools like the TagoIO Platform, showing a live demo of the WISER Locator in conjunction with this platform.

As part of the #TechSuperShow, the IoT Evolution Expo is also collocated with the Intelligent Edge Expo, the Smart City Event, and the Industrial IoT Conference. IoT Evolution Expo 2020 will feature new and unique experiences dedicated to arming the enterprise with IoT solutions and actionable intelligence for business success. It is the industry’s longest running event and will gather several thousand attendees from across the globe.

“Although we work in various business verticals, we’re able to offer an especially competitive edge in heavy industry,” said Dr. Elaine Rideout, CEO, WISER. “We’re delighted to be showcasing our tech live at an event like this—and for the opportunity to demonstrate the WISER Locator with a partner’s IoT dashboard like we’ll do during TagoIO Connect.”

The IoT Evolution Expo will take place February 11 – 14, at the Greater Ft. Lauderdale/Broward Country Convention Center in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. WISER will exhibit in booth 629.
