ISG Launches Research Study into Enterprise IoT Adoption

By

Global technology research firm Information Services Group (ISG) has announced a new study that will analyze how enterprises are using IoT devices to improve numerous business operations.  Called the ISG Provider Lens™ report, researchers plan to closely examine how this rapidly growing field changes decision making, customer service, and operational analytics.

ISG plans to specifically cover providers of IoT consulting, implementation and integration support, managed services, analytics and security services. The firm hopes that customers will be able to use the results of the report to evaluate their own operations, and determine how these devices can be maximized to make massive improvements to overall business.

“IoT is transforming the way enterprises operate by providing critical data for day-to-day operations and decision-making,” said Jan Erik Aase, partner and global leader, ISG Provider Lens Research. “Service providers are helping companies implement IoT effectively and address the organizational issues raised by this transition.”

Researchers at ISG have distributed more than 150 surveys to IoT service providers, and will focus on six quadrants of service that are most common among enterprises: IoT Consulting and Services, Managed IoT Services,Connected Mobility Consulting and Services, Artificial Intelligence on the Edge, IoT Endpoint Security, and Information Technology/Operational Technology Data Convergence. The results of this report are scheduled to be released in July of 2021. Customers can read more details of the upcoming report by reviewing a digital brochure provided by ISG.
