MicroAI Security Sees Cyber Intrusions in Real-Time

By

One of the most alarming components of a breach is timing. It takes weeks, if not months, to discover network intrusion in most cases. Just a tad frightening, no? Fortunately, the security of your IoT deployment is not dependant on legacy strategy, or outdated solutions.

MicroAI unveiled MicroAI Security to assist in protecting critical assets, IoT devices, industrial and manufacturing systems from cyber attacks.

“Zero Day attacks are operationally crippling, and cost millions of dollars for an organization to fully recover from,” said MicroAI CEO Yasser Khan. “Unfortunately, the spread of these incidents is only increasing, and MicroAI Security provides a truly effective approach to detect these attacks.”

An embedded AI algorithm is central to MicroAi Security, as it detects, alerts and visualizes attack events in real-time. Running directly on endpoint connected devices and the edge (medical devices, motors, sensors and pumps, for example), the algorithm teaches each device to self-monitor and alert IT when an incident or unusual behaviors occur.

The newly announced solution trains and develops a model for a baseline for each device, once benchmarked the device moves into inferencing mode where real time anomaly detection takes place.

From DDOS or ransomware, to phishing and cloud breaches, MicroAI security is fit for the fight. The IoT is an exciting entity, but with great power comes great responsibly. Security cannot be an afterthought.
