Comtech Launches ELEVATE VSAT Solution

By

This week, emergency system and wireless technology developer Comtech announced the launch of Comtech ELEVATE™: a new Very Small Aperture Terminal (VSAT) solution created to help organizations to manage a wide range of digital applications and network-supported services.

The business world is in the middle of a collective digital transformation, with numerous businesses investing in IoT devices, cloud infrastructure, automated systems, and robotic equipment to maximize productivity and fuel growth. But this drive to digital requires a great deal of connectivity support, and without reliable coverage at all times, these tech integrations can’t function properly.

Comtech ELEVATE™ platform allows users to affordably scale variably sized networks with the support of over 500,000 remote satellites, ensuring critical IT devices and systems maintain strong fast transmission speeds with low energy consumption.  The solution also boasts one of the highest return link throughput in the industry (200 Mbps per remote), and can handle up to 200,000 packets per second.

“Our new Comtech ELEVATE™ VSAT platform delivers unprecedented network flexibility and scalability to support a broad range of applications and markets, from broadcast and government to mobility and enterprise, using a single intelligent system,” said Michael Porcelain, Chief Executive Officer and President of Comtech. “ELEVATE™ is the next step in Comtech’s long-term plan to exploit the growing business opportunities in the satellite ground station market.
