Digi International Releases Cellular Connectivity Bundles

By

UScellular and Digi International are working together to provide an affordable solution that helps businesses with better service and cellular connectivity for industrial and IoT applications.

Digi International’s IoT connectivity products and services help companies make better products and create reliable communication systems that are safe and secure, even in challenging environments.

“The need for reliable and cost-effective connectivity is greater than ever before,” said Jennifer Cline, Global Director of Channels for Digi International. “The combined Digi and UScellular solution delivers cost-effective business bundles with a customer experience that’s simple, secure and easily managed nationwide.”

As part of the partnership, they are offering new nationwide cellular bundles for multiple use cases across enterprise and industrial IoT applications. They can be used for things like point-of-sale, digital signage, digital kiosks, and ATMs.

To ensure reliable connectivity, they come pre-packaged with a Digi connection tool inside – such as the Digi IX10 industrial router or Digi EX15 enterprise router, and Digi Remote Manager (Digi RM) so users can set up, manage, and see the whole device network. It also includes a wireless data plan, which starts at $3.50/month for 500 MB, and is perfect for businesses that don't use much data.

The new offering is especially beneficial in situations when businesses cannot afford pricey internet services. This new bundle can help ensure they can still conduct business using the connection tools for service when they need it.

“Having a reliable Internet connection is a must for business success,” said Kim Kerr, Senior Vice President, Enterprise Sales and Operations for UScellular. “This bundle solution offers a redundant option to keep important data-driven IoT services and applications connected and especially in the event of downtime or disaster.”
