New ZEDEDA Suite Provides Improved Edge Application Services

By

The number of edge devices – in addition to all the data they produce – is on a path of exponential growth.

Edge devices, as we know, are like “frontline workers” in IoT. They can collect data from everywhere, enabling quick and data-based decision-making. By extension, then, edge infrastructure – including edge servers and gateways – offers a high-performance and cost-effective way to reduce latency and process data and services as close to the end user as possible.

Edge devices as network components (and edge infrastructure, at large) are basically one big language.

And a company that speaks this language well? (Much better than I can, certainly.)

ZEDEDA.

ZEDEDA operates in the management and orchestration of the distributed edge. Its teams make edge computing painless, open and intrinsically secure, extending cloud experience and agility to the edge itself. ZEDEDA also greatly reduces the overall cost of managing and orchestrating distributed edge infrastructure and applications (while increasing visibility and control).

Last week, ZEDEDA officially introduced its ZEDEDA Edge Application Services, making it even easier for customers to instantly gain more granular control across all their edge applications (including modern AI-powered ones).

ZEDEDA Edge Application Services suite provides remote access, inventory and crucial configuration management, and Kubernetes management services tailored for each unique deployment and customer.

ZEDEDA Edge Application Services:

  • Enables IT admins and platform operations teams to instantly access any remote device (and from any location, at any time)
  • Also enables customers to provide third parties more secure access to their edge infrastructure
  • Requires no backend configuration or specialized skills, while eliminating undue overhead often associated with conventional remote access methods

Per Said Ouissal, CEO of ZEDEDA:

“Just as we saw with cloud providers in the early days, it’s time for the edge market to evolve and begin to offer value-added services. Via ZEDEDA Edge Application Services, we are able to offer customers the ability to manage, configure and control their edge applications simply by leveraging our existing ZEDEDA ecosystem.”

A demo of these ZEDEDA services can be requested here.
