The Ins and Outs of Identiv's IoT Excellence Center for Innovated Customer Experiences

By

When it comes to real-world applications, Identiv’s long-story-short M.O. is simple:

Verify. Secure. Connect.

The more detailed breakdown looks something like this:

  • Verify with logical access control technology that reliably identifies and verifies users so they may safely access data. Via remote, MFA-based and embedded application solutions like uTrust FIDO2 Security Keys, ultra-compact uTrust Token Flex devices and smart card reader technology (to name a few), Identiv has built a trusted verification solutions portfolio that lays the right groundwork for modernized data protection.

  • Secure with Identiv’s physical access control, video intelligence and various controller solutions that provide high-level security at low-level costs. We’re talking about hardware, software, and plenty of Identiv’s feature-rich systems that can be managed from anywhere. Identiv packs this “Secure” punch with video management systems, cloud-based, mobile and SMB access controls, telephone entry systems, SMB controllers and plenty of other enterprise-grade selections.

  • Connect involves even more IoT, where Identiv blends digital and physical use cases with innovative RFID technology. (e.g. tags, inlays, labels, and its powerful bitse.io connecting cloud that offers a full-circle experience for clients pushing the boundaries of IoT)

Recently, Identiv also opted to take its Internet of Things endeavors a step further with an exciting update for customers, businesses, brand owners and more:

The Identiv IoT Excellence Center.

This physical site (outside Munich, Germany) gives visitors the chance to experience Identiv’s complete IoT portfolio in person. Additionally, experts from Identiv’s adjacent Engineering Excellence Center are available on-site to showcase a wide range of application and use-case possibilities, allowing visitors to visualize firsthand how RFID-enabled solutions can enhance their operations, as well.

From the official announcement:

“At the IoT Excellence Center, current and prospective IoT customers, partners, and suppliers can demo and test Identiv’s flagship IoT products based upon high-frequency (HF)/near-field communication (NFC), Bluetooth (BLE), or ultra-high-frequency (UHF) technology. The new center showcases advanced RFID solutions, such as embedded Life of Garment tags, ruggedized Tag-On-Metal (TOM) tags, BLE-enabled ID-Pixels tags, encrypted solutions for healthcare applications, and full-circle, sustainable solutions for consumer brands that utilize the bitse.io IoT connecting cloud.”

Per Amir Khoshniyati, VP and GM of IoT at Identiv:

“Our IoT Excellence Center exemplifies the strength of our team’s technical expertise and our commitment to our customers, partners, and suppliers’ successes. We look forward to having visitors engage with the cutting-edge specialty IoT devices on display. With on-site support from our Engineering Excellence Center, IoT innovators can rely on Identiv to design and develop their groundbreaking ideas into working prototypes that can effectively scale into high-volume production.”
