Atombeam Neurpac: Compacting Data, Expanding Possibilities in the IoT Era

By

Zero Trust is the a noted practice in today’s security scheme. Rarely, though, do we hear about what comes next. The answer is a cipher, but often ciphers add to the payload of the messages.

Atombeam’ s Neurpac SaaS is a different kind of cipher that decreases the payload of the message. In fact, it decreases the size of the payload of an open message. This is because Atombeam’s Neurpac solution is specifically designed to overcome the challenges of network congestion and bandwidth limitations.

Unlike traditional compression methods, Neurpac leverages Atombeam's data-as-codewords technology to achieve lossless data compaction. This approach restructures data at its core, resulting in an average of 75% data reduction without sacrificing data integrity. The compaction also reduces the need for resends since, unlike other methodologies, the compressed length makes fewer transmissions necessary and reduces vulnerability to network congestion.

This cloud-based solution seamlessly integrates with existing IoT infrastructure, making it a versatile asset across diverse sectors.

Neurpac also benefits from strong partnerships with Cirrus Link, Ericsson, and Inductive Automation.

Integrating with Ericsson's wireless solutions and leveraging Cirrus Link's MQTT protocol, Neurpac optimizes data transmission from edge devices to the cloud. Its compatibility with Inductive Automation's platform allows for real-time data visualization, enabling actionable insights and improved operational control.

Deployment is streamlined through Docker-compatible routers, like Ericsson Cradlepoint, ensuring ease of implementation and management via Ericsson's NetCloud platform.

When you consider uses cases such as the oil and gas industry, Neurpac achieved a remarkable 75% bandwidth reduction in an oil and gas deployments, utilizing a Cradlepoint 1900 router and MQTT. This reduction in data volume not only lowered transmission costs but also improved storage efficiency.

Inductive Ignition Platform provides a dashboard displaying accessible metrics and alerts, which enables remote operators to make timely and effective field adjustments.

The benefit of the three partners then highlights Neurpac's ability to solve bandwidth constraints in remote locations, not to mention displaying measurable improvements reducing costs, and efficiency.

Atombeam's Neurpac is notable when dealing with remote locations, improving business processes, and optimizing resource utilization. The ability to transmit more data within existing infrastructures opens doors to new services and creates revenue opportunities of data through AI analysis.
