By IoTevolutionworld News June 19, 2012

Minsk, June 17th 2012 – Gurtam released a new version of Wialon Hosting. The upgraded vehicle tracking system now has more advanced features that were designed to meet every user’s needs and expectations.

The improved version of Wialon Hosting exceeds provided opportunities to set different varieties of features for every unique situation. This would be especially useful for LBS providers and solution integrators involved into the sphere of GPS tracking that have to provide particular information in the specific way for each user in their everyday work.

One of the most urgent innovations is a module “Routes.” This module will be especially useful for dispatch services, as from this moment there is no need in additional software for public transportation control and management.

The new module allows LBS providers and solution integrators to get more detailed and specific information in the most convenient way. Module “Routes” solves the problems related to planning and controlling of vehicle routes specified in the tracking system. As it is, the possibilities to manage routes have been expanded. There are now more ways to add checkpoints that can be done by entering the address, placing a point on the map or using geofences or POI.

A new convenient cover is provided for active routes viewing, their current status, progress, etc. System users can get all the needed data online or through the customized reports.

“We hope that the new version of Wialon Hosting would be helpful and would solve a lot of problems the older versions couldn’t,” said Denis Strakh, head of Gurtam’s development department. “We also expect a new module ‘Routes’ to work toward spreading the use of GPS tracking in new areas like public transportation.”

Gurtam develops highly flexible and functional software platform for GPS/GLONASS tracking and fleet management, and is well known all over the world. Gurtam offers a full range of services, and has working experience with leading businesses in different industries.
