Observables Delivers All-in-One Connected Services Platform

By Chrissie Cluney July 06, 2017

Are you searching for a platform that controls infrastructure devices on the network?

Observables Inc. has created a connected service platform that connects, manages, monitors and controls new and legacy infrastructure devices on the network. These devices include alarm systems, computer networks, access control, smart home, and phone and video surveillance into a singular cloud and mobile dashboard for dealers, OEMs, makers, and end-users alike. The company has launched a new patent-pending IOBOT with the AlwaysON Platform. This product provides a complete hardware and software solution that serves as a bridge between legacy systems and modern technology and can help developers break into the market faster.

“Leveraging our pre-certified devices allows you to spend more time creating instead of worrying about the certifications,” said Abe Schryer, president and CEO, Observables. “OEMs and makers can use as little or as much of our end-to-end solution to implement their own ideas and break into the market faster.”

What does the IOBOT come with? Each IOBOT comes with USB, Ethernet and WiFi connectivity. There are two additional modular slots inside each IOBOT that allow for custom configuration. O module is the communication module for adding Cellular and soon Z-Wave and LoRa. The other module is the personality module that handles physical connections for Analog Phone, Alarm panel, Controllable GPIOs, Relays, Wiegand interface, Z-Wave, RF and other application sensors and standards. The USB interconnect Bus provides the ability to quickly add third party devices, expansion modules, and the optional satellite Unit for global connectivity both on and off grid. There are numerous configurations that customize the IOBOT. Developers can easily add multiple applications to each IOBOT through a wizard-based interface on the AlwaysON Cloud.

Observables has engineered a Cloud-based connected services platform and hardware to deliver their patent-pending solution. This allows customers to connect with persistent communications via broadband, cellular, or the industry's first ever satellite communicator for on or off grid global service.  Manage IP devices, security panels, sensors, lights, thermostats, video cameras, door locks, gates, and garage doors. This allows homeowners to create actionable homeowner and Central Station alerts. Homeowners can monitor their system health proactively through remote diagnostics and troubleshooting plus self-healing procedures for profitable recurring monthly revenue (RMR), minimized inventory and reduced truck rolls.
