According to a recent announcement, IoT Cloud Platform company TagoIO has joined the LoRa Alliance, a global association backing the open LoRaWAN standard for IoT low-power wide-area networks (LPWAN).
The company said in ite news release that is thinks the world is entering into the next phase of a global digital transformation. With that in mind, TagoIO said it is set to help LoRa Alliance members, uncover new products and services, more efficiently build better products, and manage devices, store data, run analytics and integrate services.
“The LoRa Alliance is focused on making it easier and faster to deploy IoT solutions, by continuously building on our capabilities as the largest global IoT LPWAN member ecosystem,” said Donna Moore, CEO and Chairwoman, LoRa Alliance. “TagoIO adds a robust and user-friendly platform to our ecosystem for not just accessing IoT data, but using that data in meaningful ways to create real value and improve business outcomes. They bring with them an installed base of 5,000 IoT developers who will help create the next generation of LoRaWAN products that provide rich data insights and produce real business value; particularly in North America where LoRaWAN is experiencing rapid growth.”
LoRaWAN is a global standard for secure, carrier-grade IoT LPWAN connectivity that is designed for large-scale, mass IoT deployments.

We know that we need strong partners to complement our ecosystem, and that is why we created a program to add 1,000+ types of end-node devices from sensor manufacturers to our platform by the end of 2020,” stated Fabio Rosa, CEO, TagoIO. “By joining the LoRa Alliance, we are confident that we will achieve this goal and benefit both our customers and the hardware manufacturers.”
