365 Data Centers Announces Major Upgrades to Its Southeast Florida Network

By Ken Briodagh December 19, 2018

In a recent release, 365 Data Centers, a provider of hybrid data center services for carrier, content and enterprise customers, announced major upgrades to its network infrastructure in Southeast Florida. The upgrades to 365 Data Centers’ network in the Boca Raton, Fort Lauderdale and Miami markets will increase capacity and redundancy, while providing lower latency connectivity along with several intelligent network management features.

“365 Data Centers is making the right moves to prep its network to manage the intense demands of its customers who are looking for secure and reliable connections,” said Sumeet Arora, SVP, Service Provider Networks, Cisco. “With cloud scale networking technologies like the Cisco NCS 5500 in play, it has laid the foundation for an automated, simplified and trusted network of the future that can easily scale to support the new services available throughout its Florida footprint.”

365 Data Centers has consistently broadened its portfolio of service offerings and made investments in infrastructure, technology and technical personnel in Southeast Florida. 365 Data Centers recently connected its Boca Raton and Fort Lauderdale data centers to all eight of its other data center facilities, providing low cost access to 10 national data centers and 15 other Points of Presence (PoPs) for back-up, disaster recovery and connectivity. The network upgrades, which will utilize the Cisco NCS5500 and ASR core routing platforms with Nexus switches, will allow 365 Data Centers to deliver the same high-quality services in Southeast Florida as it does in its other markets.

“The network infrastructure upgrades in Southeast Florida underscore 365 Data Centers’ commitment to transforming from a connectivity-rich, colocation services business to a provider of hybrid data center services,” said James Ashton, Director of Network Engineering, 365 Data Centers. “Moreover, in selecting Cisco, our current and prospective carrier and service provider customers will benefit from a technology leader whose high performing, reliable and high capacity connectivity solutions deliver a smarter, simpler and more secure network than ever before.”
